The Matrix Principals have extensive international experience.
NORTH AMERICA
Previous experience as Vice Chairman and CEO of a number of Houston based E&P entities with investment experience in both Conventional (Texas, Louisiana) and Unconventional (Permian, Eagleford and Oklahoma).
AFRICA
The Principals have extensive operational and investment experience across the African continent, including but not limited to:
- North Africa, particularly Egypt and Tunisia
- Horn of Africa, particularly Djibouti, Ethiopia, Somalia and Somaliland
- East Africa, including Tanzania, Mozambique, Rwanda, Burundi and Seychelles
- Central Africa, including Sudan and Chad
- West Africa, including Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Benin, Gabon and Namibia
MIDDLE EAST & NEAR EAST
Our Principals have direct operating and investing experience in most Middle East countries, in particular:
- The Gulf Cooperation Council (“GCC”) countries which include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (“UAE”)
- Yemen
- Syrian Arab Republic
- Iraq
- Other geographies in the region
RUSSIA & CIS
Our Principals have direct operational, trading and investment experience in Russia and several CIS countries particularly:
- Turkmenistan
- Kazakhstan
- Kyrgyzstan
